I'm sure I'm not the first to think this, but could any of the "missing" swords be hidden within the Iron Throne?

Hiding a needle in a stack of needles?

Multiple refs to Aerys (and others) constantly cutting themselves... Some blades must be pretty keen...?

It's safe to assume many of the swords on the throne are of Valyrian steel since there are reportedly hundreds in current circulation.

However, many of the named swords mentioned missing went missing long after the Iron Throne was created.

Wait. The Iron Throne was created with the swords of the defeated during Aegon's Conquest. Since the armies of the 7 kingdoms were armed prior to Aegon's Landing, don't see how very few if any of them could be V Steel, but iron and castle forged steel at best...unless I missed something. Weren't most of the existing VS swords brought to Wesos by Aegon and his host? Given to the greater Houses as reward for fealty?
Ice being the exception, I thought?

At any rate, I was implying the hidden VS swords were placed into the throne after (long after) the throne was created. Disguised as just another iron sword- but not welded in place (although it may appear so- purposefully)

Same idea as hiding a body in an old coffin with the original carcass....who would look there?

Hundreds in circulation. But all the wealth of Casterly Rock was unable to procure even one, and Tywin was actively searching. I think they're extremely rare.

How did Mormont get one?
