The venom he gets for being the "Kingslayer" should be praise.

Then shouldn't everyone think of Arthur Dayne as some sort of dishonorable man because he stayed loyal to Aerys till the end? Yet, he is viewed as one of the most honorable men in all of Westeros.

I agree with you that Jaime killing Aerys was the right thing to do but he forsake his vows to do it. How can anybody trust a man who forsakes vows as sacred as being one of the Kingsguard?

one day soon I'm gonna go back and read this thread. So awesome how much ASOIAF has grown thanks to the show

ELI MANNING = TYRION LANNISTER

Two men, forever in the shadow of their older brothers. As a misshapen dwarf, no one takes Tyrion Lannister seriously or even expects anything out of him… but he masterminded the plan that saved King’s Landing from the Baratheon forces. The equally underestimated Eli Manning managed to win two Super Bowls against seemingly impossible odds, and still no one believes it because he looks like a fricking goofball.

No, but he was certainly loyal to a fault.

Because he stepped outside the notion of "false honor" and saved thousands of lives from being torched by Wild Fire.
