Hell, I'm hoping Howland Reed makes a damn appearance in the next book or so that way we can at least get the truth on Jon's lineage.

Speaking of, there's something I'm curious about. When we read about the Tower of Joy early in GoT we get this comment:

quote:

"They had found him (Ned) still holding her (Lyanna's) body, silent with grief." — pg. 44

The general thought is that only Ned and Howland Reed knows what went down. Ned was holding Lyanna. For there to be a "they" it would need to be more than Howland Reed. Is it possible where is someone else alive that knows what really happened? Some have suggested it's Wyalla (who we find out later was Jon's wet nurse).

I'm kind of thinking we will find out about that through Bran.

If Rhaegar and Lyanna got married (which is something I can see Rhaegar insisting on) Lyanna would've probably insisted on it being in front of a heart tree. If thats the case Bran could link into that and put two and two together.

Or maybe hear Ned praying about the situation in front of the heart tree in the Winterfell God's Wood.

All I know is some earth shattering news has to come from Bran's new found power.

And I've always just assumed it was Wylla. I've never really thought about it any further though.

Varys. He has the letter that Ned tried sending to Jon.

I'm not convinced Arthur Dayne died the way it seems he did. Ned's comment to Bran "he would have killed me if it weren't for Howland reed", just seems deliberately vague. Maybe he fell on his sword to protect the secret and send Jon off with Ned?

As for Bloodraven, how does the Lord Commander of the Night's Watch just disapear? I'm guessing that will eventually be addressed in the D&E series. Oh well, off to E. TX.
