I don't doubt for a second that the commissioner has a huge influence on what stories run on ESPN.

He allows insider info to get to ESPN's "insiders" first. Do you think he doesn't use that as leverage?

you know, i was watching NFL gameday on ESPN sunday morning, and i really found it strange that ZERO of the analysts had anything negative to say about RG and the issues troubling the league right now (bountygate, the lockout, the referees, etc)

they were all praising him and a how he was doing such a wonderful job, etc.. i just found it strange because usually at least one person takes the opposite side of an issue, just for television's sake... i just thought it was strange
