Don't understand this much.
Looks like he'll play 3rd, where he has played a total of 2 games in the minors.
But he will put fans in the seats.

This makes no sense, but he has been hot & cold. Who knows? Maybe he will get hot & this will look like a genius move until he cools down and hits 210/245/502 in September.

Why start the clock and why call him up before September?
Let's not forget that even Trout was not ready in 2011.
I hope Machado does well, but I do not think he will fare too well this season in the AL East.
