Yes. And the best guy after him is Dillon Gordon, but he lacks experience. The other guys either block well but can't catch, catch okay but struggle blocking, or block okay and barely catch anything.

Do you think Travis Duckson can channel his brother's skills?

Clement is the best and that should not be questioned. Edwards has seniority and his brother played here, so that's about the only reason he's still around. Nic Jacobs is physically a beast and if his catching skills can develop he could be good but is still not ready. IMO Dickson is the second best right now but still a little ways off from where his brother was. Dillion Gordon is very athletic but needs time.

1.Clement
2.Dickson
3.Edwards
4.Jacobs
5.Gordon

Jacobs will probably line up in 2 TE sets and Dickson and Edwards will play more of a H-back role.

Gordon has the best hands out of all of them imo or atleast from the practice footage I've seen.

I watched him in one game against Westgate in the dome and he took a wheel route for about 40 some odd yards and had made a really athletic play to catch it. One game later in the season he returned a kick for a TD. He also shut down Rico Gathers in basketball and made all state in baseball. So he's probably our most athletic TE. He's also one of the biggest. If he catches on quick, he'll see the field this year.

Gordon is a nice blocker as well, his play against Rasco in the dome a couple years ago is what put him on the coaches' radar.

I'm glad we have another physical freak at TE. I hope he gets more of a chance to showcase his talents during his career.

The worst thing is, I haven't heard anyone else's name mentioned. The only known guy who WILL receive significant playing time is Clement. I haven't been encouraged by any of their receiving abilities from the little I've seen on these past few days worth of film. I know there is a lot I haven't seen, but I was really excited about Dickson when he chose us because people spoke highly of his athletic ability.

Agree from what I have seen Gordon has the best hands and athleticism although I am waiting to see Jacobs kid ran like a deer in high school

I hope that you're wrong. I would love to see a balanced TE come through

Gordon has a golden opportunity in front of him to move up the chart. And the talent.
