A player of Anderson's caliber and versatility could easily come off the bench yet still play more than 3 of our starters IMO.

Ginobli-esque. If he's averaging 34 minutes a game that's fine. He could play more than Vasquez and AFA and the Lopez girl with that quantity of time.

bringing one of your best players off the bench is a luxury for really good all-around teams like the Spurs and Thunder....we're not quite there yet, and I doubt we do that with Anderson.

...not to mention, as it stands now, Anderson is our best rebounder

I like Anderson a lot but he has 2 elite skills- 3pt shooting and ORebounding- that cash his checks. He is not versatile. Now that doesn't mean he can't come off the bench, but I just don't see it happening when he can't create his own shot.

Edit- I would also say that his strengths work better against starting lineups which have more traditional 4s and 5s than bench units with more unconventional players.
