I've been watching Jennings' highlights and comparing them to Shepard's high school highlights and I cant decided who is the better QB. Both have great arm strength and vision. It does seem like Shepard got happy feet a little more than Jennings. My reason for comparing the two is I hope Jennings isn't our next good high school QB that doesn't pan out at the QB position. Not bashing the kid just making a comparison.

Two completely different styles, imo.

I'm with you on that one, seems like a few people are forgetting about Rettig, but that guy is pretty damn good.

Shepard is a much better athlete than Jennings but Jennings throws the ball 100x better.

The two aren't comparable at all.

everytime someone sees jennings throw, the first things they allude to are his accuracy and velocity, his ability to pass in general.

Something you never heard associated with RS at any point in his career as a QB.

QB? Jennings. Athlete? RS.

The things RS did on his HS film was just nasty. They're really not anything alike and before somebody says Jennings might get moved, he has far more potential staying at QB than RS ever had...

Watching RS film again just makes me disappointed. What a waste. Never lived up to his potential. But he does have one more year, so hopefully he can finally do it.

Hopefully Jennings is a better QB, considering that Shep was so awesome that they moved him to WR when he got to BR

what type of scrambling ability does jennings have? I haven't bothered watching any film. Does he run alot? Is he fast, more alusive, or both?

I hope nobody seriously suggests moving Jennings to another position. The guy is a pro-style QB...don't get where people get the idea black QBs = dual-threat.

He's a pro-style QB with good mobility, but he is not a runner by any means. He's a pass-first guy definitely. He does have good speed and combined with his mobility on the high school level he is smart at getting some rushing yards, but he is not a dual-threat QB by any shape of the mind. He plays on historically a bad team in Marietta (AAAAAA football), he willed them to the playoffs last year to get raped in the 2nd round though by a powerhouse in Camden County. Hopefully h can get them even more playoff wins this year, even though they play in AAAAAA their region is pretty poor overall, so they should win no less than 6 of their 8 region games.

This is only true for one of them and it's not Shepard.

They are very similar but if you can tell Jennings is Pass first the run and Shepard is run first then pass if that makes sense...but to throw this out there if jennings was as good as shep wouldnt he be number one player in the country ? which he still maybe could end up being
