Fromt the OT: Walker men arrested for trying to sink Wildlife and Fisheries boat

FRENCH SETTLEMENT, LA (WAFB) - Three Walker men have been arrested for an incident that started with a DWI arrest and ended with two of them accused of trying to sink a Louisiana Wildlife and Fisheries boat.
According to reports, LDWF agents arrested Kyle Corkern, 26, for an alleged DWI on the Amite Diversion Canal on July 8th. When the agents parked their boat at a marina to take Kyle Corkern to the French Settlement Police Dept. for a intoxilyzer test, Brian Heyse, 25, and Neal Corkern, 23, allegedly pulled a drainage plug on the boat and ran.
The two men had been passengers in Kyle Corkern's boat earlier in the day.
The LDWF vessel had a pump on board that was able to keep the boat afloat.
Heyse and Neal Corkern were arrested July 17th. They have been charged with simple burglary, attempted criminal damage to property, criminal mischief and criminal trespassing.
