my opinion will be very unpopular, but anyways, these penalties are insane. i fully understand the reasons behind them, but man, there are going to be a lot of innocent people who suffer...

There are a substantial number of people that share your viewpoint, and I can definitely see it. The cult like atmosphere that permeates from that fan base removes so much of my empathy though, that the only thing I'm truly wary about with these punishments is the NCAA expanding its jurisdiction and power.

I couldn't agree more
I mean seriously, if I rape and murder my neighbor, why should my wife and children have to live without their husband and father. Its not fair to them to have to suffer because I am in prison.

A local radio host compared it to a corporate scandal. (He used Enron). They had over 8,000 workers and because of 12 people who were all indicted, every single of them 8,000 people were fired and unemployed because of the actions by few. I think it was a good analogy and the point being life isn't fair and a few people can ruin anything for a lot of people if they are aligned together.
It has become very obvious that all of these whack-o's from Piss State are aligned together even though it was only a few that commited crimes.
