Anyone want to laugh at the "morally superior" Big 10?

I believe it was fans of their member institutions who have acted morally superior to those cheating SEC schools. Lets review the facts:

2 of their football programs are going to be banned from bowl games in 2012.

IU baskeball is just now starting to recover from being hammered by the NCAA and Michigan basketball came damn near the death penalty back in the '90s.

Oops.

Way ahead of you been laughing for years. When you are underperforming you pull the moral card. Ask UGA.

I hope my intention of this thread isn't misconstrued. I'm definitely not laughing at the circumstances at Penn State. Only that another big 10 school is facing NCAA sanctions when just a few months back the SEC was the "bastard cheaters" of the NCAA

An Alabama grad accusing Auburn of paying a recruit who flipped?

Part of their moral stand is that they always would claim that we in the SEC let everything take a backseat to football. Academics, players getting arrested, whatever it may be, we treated football like it was more important than everything. I think it's very obvious that the recent actions of Ohio St and Penn St show that they definitely felt that winning on Saturday was more important than anything else.

Problem is, neither one has won lately. At least get some bang for your buck. (Auburn epitomized this theory)

Again I keed, I keed

I mean the best part about that Bama story was he admitted to Bama paying players too in 1 sentence...GENIUS

Serious question: do you guys think SEC schools are able to "cover it up" better because they are in smaller areas and not bigger cities? This PSU thing just shows that the cops can be in on it in small communities.

I think LSU football is the only team currently on probation in the SEC right now.

I am just busting your balls some man. Of course I think everyone cheats and does shady shite. I just think the NCAA picks their battles.

Don't know how they figure it but they do as impartial as it may be.

Do they process players?

What are the academic requirements for a football scholarship to a big 10 school compared to the SEC?

I would like to know.

Oh I know you're just busting me but I wonder if smaller cities make it easier with the cops being in on it. I'm not saying it's for sure happening cause there's no evidence but there wasn't much evidence in happy valley a year ago....
