Also:

Dryer lint.

I haven't done this, but outdoor matched with the heads dipped in wax. Keeps them dry and makes a good flame.

Cotton balls dipped in wax. Keeps the cotton dry and makes a good fire.

A small bottle of lighter fluid.

Liquid soap.

Medium-sized vice grips to suppliment your multi-tool.

A bayonet. Good for the big jobs and cheaper than a Bowie knife.

Hatchet.

A small, fine file for your hatchet, bayonet, ect. Would be good for trading too. "I'll sharpen your tools in exchange for batteries, venison, pussy, ect."

Dryer lint is amazing for fire, it's how I start mine every time along with a Swedish Firesteel. For a situation where it's moist you can dip it into Vaseline and it'll stay lit for several minutes.

Eta....didn't read through and post above beat me although I'd rather use lint. It's free and cotton balls aren't.
