Be as specific (specific bayou, canal, bay, pond, etc) or broad as you want. Also place a higher priority on reds than trout. I fish mostly rigolets and Hopedale but I don't think those are really the best la has to offer.

I only fish Montegut/Cocodrie and sometime Grand Isle. So that's my list lol

Biloxi Marsh - redfish
Turners Bay (Big Lake) - specks
Green Break (Caddo Lake) - largemouth bass
PS - I've only been to Venice as a child, but even though Biloxi Marsh is an awesome redfishery, from what I've seen on TV, NOTHING is better than Venice for reds.
Edit: is venice considered "in shore"?

For you guys that are listing big lake. Have you ever fished Eastern Louisiana? e.g. cocodrie and dularge?

Big Lake
Dularge
Cocodrie
I lived in Houma for 2 years and fished around there and I still like Big Lake the best.
