Man yall are wayyyyyy beyond anything I ever watched.

I really enjoyed dragonball z up through cell. After that I don't remember much. I could probably remember every word from every episode between the first and when gohan blows cell's shite away

That's a good place to stop actually and where I would've ended it.

While I agree the Buu saga is not as memorable as the rest, I think it would have been better to stop it before Goku and Vegeta fused and just let Mystic Gohan defeat Buu be the strongest. He shows up wearing Goku's outfit and it was be a great way for Gohan to really officially take over as protector from Goku. He showed up a different Gohan, the confidence and all. Gohan was always my favorite DBZ character, outside of the Saiyaman debacle. Watching him explode with anger and frick people up was so exciting every. single. time.

Anyway, to my point, even after Cell and Gohan went SSJ2, Gohan still didn't have full confidence in himself, as indicated by Goku having to step in to talk Gohan through giving it his all to blwo Cell to smithereens.. Gohan didn't have the confidence to defeat cell all on his own, even though he had the power to. Not til he came back from training with Supreme Kai did he have that kind of confidence and could actually be the protector/savior of the universe.
