Simmons, Paris, and Brown are on the list to visit next week and are considered LSU leans correct? Any news on Hootie attending?

Hargreaves is visiting USC at the moment (and is blowing up twitter about how much he loves it) and Ramsey is set to announce on the 16th.... How does this favor LSU with Goodman and WIllis who are also on the visitors list for next week? Glad to see they are both visiting.

USC has Cravens and Hawkins committed and Redfield is said to be theres. If Hargraves and Ramsey commit over the next week.... don't we have to become the leaders for TG and PW? No way USC takes more than 5 DBs with only 18 spots!?

Please advise...

LSU could be in GREAT SHAPE for the future!!!!

I think Ramsey will be in Baton Rouge this weekend, although he will probably end up at USC. I think we are in drivers seat for Willis....

IDK but we're going to have to boot a lot of DBs off the roster if our DB recruiting keeps going like this. If we land the big 3 next year and finish out with Willis/Robinson/RJ...jesus.

SEC fricked.

From an older thread, here's a comparison between USC and LSU with regards to DB talent in the NFL.
quote:

USC. Safeties: Taylor Mays, Troy Polamalu. CBs: Kevin Thomas, Shareece Wright, Eric Wright.

LSU. Safeties: Ryan Clark, Chad Jones, LaRon Landry, Danny McCray, Craig Steltz, Curtis Taylor, Brandon Taylor. CBs: Ron Brooks, Travis Daniels, Chris Hawkins, Patrick Peterson, Corey Webster, Mo Claiborne.

I think it's fair to say that LSU has the advantage in both quality and quantity.

With that level of NFL success, combined with back-to-back Thorpe Award winners, back-to-back Bednarik Award winners, a Heisman trophy finalist, Tiger Stadium, possible back-to-back NCG appearances (including a win this year I hope!), Maxim's sexiest college in America, the food, etc. etc., the question isn't "Why would an elite DB choose LSU?". . . It's "Why wouldn't they?!"

Yes, we are only taking 5 DBs, unless we have something happen.

And with #1 OG Khaleil Rodgers and 4* OT Nico Fallah committing today, it gets even tighter. We will have 15/16 commits by the beginning of August.

If diarse and tre white are going to be DBS we will have 7 CBS and 7 safeties.

Why are we concerned w DBS when Dl is the need here.

About 2014 DB prospects, besides the ones already mentioned - Paris, Brown, Simmons and Jones - don't forget about Hardeman as well as Jabril Peppers out of New Jersey, who said earlier that LSU was his dream school.
