Nope, he's too good of a player to want to stay in nola. He'd rather play in brighter lights elsewhere. The Hornets need to get a team of quasi-allstar level players

Yea because no good player will ever want to play here

Didnt say that. Demps is getting good players. The quasi all star level types. The type that might make the all star team some years but not consistently.
The only way nola can get the real nba superstars to play here is if we get lucky and have a rookie blossom into one ala CP3 (duncan on the spurs, durant with the thunder etc) and then we have to compete consistently while theyre here. Nola doesnt have the glamour of the 4-5 dominant nba cities.

I agree we're not established enough to get a superstar FA. I guess the way you worded that irked me. It seemed like you were insinuating that any really good player would not want to play for the Hornets. sorry about that

This is true. 100%.
That doesn't mean you don't have a hard-on for hating NOLA. Its bordering on extremely weird.

True for most but there's always the exception. And it is conceivable you can contend with a very good 7 - 8 man rotation

Now, if Demps and Monty can get the foundation in place the right way and we begin competing for the west finals every year thats a different story. Then the allure of a ring might lure a bigtime star in. Somebody on Durant's level could end up wanting to come here to win if that happens. Or maybe a big star that's never won a ring and is closer to retirement or something.

I'm not saying it means anything, but I'm told a large black man who is planning a move from Orlando to NO is looking at condos at One River Place.

Yea. As much as I hate to make the comparison (b/c it's 2 different sports) but you look at how the Saints used to have trouble bringing in Free agents in the past but nowadays they have no problem doing it because guys want to come here.

VOR don't get our hopes up - even in jest.

If Howard ends up here i promise you i will be the most annoyingly positive and light hornets fan on the board. Even moreso than tehchampion. I'll be like the Les Miles fans the day after Jan 9 2012
No move the hornets ever make will be wrong and all of the hornets players will just be absolute winners in every facet of life

I give Howard being traded to the Hornets a -183932763% chance of happening.
Still too high IMO.

I was told he was wearing a t-shirt with a picture of Ron Jeremy on it with an "x" over the face. Mean anything? Who knows!
