I don't recall reading much about it on here. Looking for a place to get apps before we go get some drinks and wait for a table at Adolfo's.

Looks like it has a nice courtyard(hopefully not too hot) and a good small plate menu.

Courtyard is really nice - they use misting fans so its somewhat bearable even in the middle of summer. Tapas menu is nice - good ceviche, scallops and pulled pork nachos. Live music every night. Not a bad way to start an evening. If the weather is not cooperating, go hit Three Muses for apps and drinks (also has a tapas menu, live music and its inside).

Thanks. That's what I wanted to hear. I've been to Three Muses and enjoyed it, was hoping to try something new, but have no problem going back.

I have always really like that spot. Not sure why it is not talked about much.
Has a great atmosphere and is a really fun place to start a night. Dancing, music, outdoor bar. My favorite fried pickles and I think I had a good lobster mac there as well.
BUT, the service is horrible. Literally every time I have been there (at least 5 times) it has been some of the worst I have experienced. It will not be a quick in and out.

Last time I went to adolphos we had to wait for a table. They told us to go downstairs and wait for our name to be called. Let's just say it was entertaining down there. I would only do it once.

Always on a wait.

Hit or miss on the music and it isn't for everybody. I like it when I am going w/ another laid back couple who doesn't mind hanging out and having a drink or 3 and waiting for a table while listening to some live jazz.

I would do it once every few months if I lived in Nola. I have had very good service and food on my visits.

I agree. Its a good date spot without destroying your wallet. Adolpho is also a nice guy. Came back to the kitchen to tell us how good his meal was.
