I'm a little more than halfway through the video. You can tell Gerrity is asking questions like a fan and Gordon is pretty uncomfortable about it. He almost sounds like he's angry with Gordon in his questioning and wonders why he isn't satisfied with what New Orleans has done.

Yeah Eg seems like if he has to play in NOLA he be like "Yeah huh. I wanted to play for PHX but thats okay Let play some B-bALL." Doesnt seem like hell be that disappointed.

The video does help make some of Gordon's comments not seem as bad. People are pissed about the big man quote, but the reporter brought it up by asking if he felt slighted at the drafting of Austin Rivers. He was basically baiting him into a response that he could run with.

If that's Gerrity at about 9:10 basically mocking the Phoenix welcoming party then I lost some respect for him. It was a pretty dickish thing to ask and you can tell it struck a nerve with Gordon. We can joke about it as fans, but don't be an arse to a guy you want to play for your team.

Yeah it wasnt very nice but it made EG say that the employees didnt matter and it was the team that impressed him. Now Dell and Monty know they dont need to do that. I think our team is just as good as theirs if not better. Our staff seems to be more professional in the way they work the players harder then any other team I can tell.

I can't see the video but my phone for some reason, but the is at least Joe. You can check a couple of other videos to compare the voice.
I'll confirm when I can.

Let us know when you find out.
I appreciate Joe and the work that he does but I felt that question was very unprofessional and probably a stab at Gordon.

i like Gordon more after this video. Even though a few of his answers were silly. i think mainly because he isnt comfortable surrounded by all those people grilling him like that

Yeah, the video really justifies a lot of his comments that sound worse when just taken as text. I hope he hears what he needs to hear from our guys and I hope he makes the Olympic team along with Davis and does well.

I will neither condemn nor defend Joe.

Between Fletcher Mackel or Gerrity, I can decide who is the more upset school girl.

He baited him somewhat but there's a million ways to answer that without throwing our existing big men and our draft choices under the bus.

id have to lean with Fletcher, considering he's mad enough that he'd take pennies on the dollar by trading him to Phoenix

I don't deny that. Gordon is being grilled by reporters, though, and has to say the first thing that comes to his mind. You're lying if you tell me you've never said something as a quick response that you later thought over and realized that you could've said better.

Markieff Morris is going to be a dominant force in the NBA. You wait and see.

Eric Gordon seems uncomfortable in every interview he does, don't know why this one is any different.

That's Joe. "100 employees . . ." Then Jimmy Smith asking about being disrespected. I'll have to think about the others.
Just identifying for you guys. Not judgments.

Yeah I wasn't cool with that question. Everything else was fine with me.

both Joe and Jimmy are guilty of asking some pretty blatantly slanted questions that make them seem more like fans than objective journalists. there's a thin line that exists when grilling an athlete about a situation like this. they asked the right questions but in the wrong way.
