I'm a huge documentary fan. Probably go as far as calling myself a documentary nerd. It's by far my favorite genre. In the past I've shared some docs that I enjoyed, and thought I'd throw out 2 more.
• The Sounds of Insects: Record of a Mummy- Slow moving documentary, but that's kinda the point. Inspired/based on a true story of a man found in the wilderness dead, who committed suicide by starvation. When found, he had a journal, where he recorded each day of his suicide by starvation. The narrator reads excerpts from each day.
I know what you're thinking, BORING. While not exactly action packed, it does keep your attention, and makes you wonder why someone would choose to die this way. I loved this documentary.
• Resurrect Dead: The Mystery of the Toynbee Tiles - I actually saw this movie before it came to Netflix, and really enjoyed it. It's a mystery doc, and the main character is a likeable nerd who really, really wants to solve this mystery. Without going into too much detail, it's about mysterious tiles with cryptic messages, that have been found on the streets of the USA & South America.

Your first link isn't really a documentary.

Can you go into a little more detail on this one (you can label spoilers if you have to)? Like did he find/figure out anything? I've read about the tiles before, but not too much is really known about their origin or meaning. I'd hate to watch a doc for an hour and a half and get nothing out of it.
Also, here is the trailer for the Insects one: LINK /
At one point, it mentions "day 17." That's a long fricking time to not eat.

I'd recommend Senna. Based on story of Formula 1 driver Ayrton Senna

Bump
I finally got around to watching Waiting for Superman and wanted to highly recommend this to everyone (and solicit more board suggestions for documentaries to watch)
