Last year when we needed many LBs, he would have gotten an offer IMO. This year, we already have Melvin Jones and the only other LB we're even interested in is Beckwith who is a DE all the way IMO for us.

IMO, that is exactly right. The opposite is true of course this year with DL. LSU is offering far more DL than in a normal year because IMO about 7 need to be signed after only signing 1 last year.

I think he is one of those guys who will "slip" out of the state and be solid for another school. Saw him play against parkview last year, kid played both ways the whole game and went 100 MPH all the time, he was a gamer. I just don't think he has the tools beckwith has, he is barely 6 feet and has a dumpy frame and not overly fast. After seeing him and beckwith play, claiborne was more impressive, you could see his heart and attitude.

Claiborne is a very good football player. Most years he is a take. I guess with the LBs last year and how quickly are class has filled up this year compared to years past and with top notch OOS talent coming aboard early he is gonna get left out. Unfortunate LSU is gonna have to face him for a few years. IMO yall are getting a really good football player. Congrats ( I guess

Congrats to Darian and TAM. Pure a numbers and size issue. If he were taller we would have offered.
