Ugh, Can we change the names there to
Please?
ETA: I'd even trade both of them to keep one of Sagna or Theo.

Bild is reporting we might activate Götze's buyout clause which expires in July...

Thats supposedly the buyout, I admit I'm not sure how that works, do you have to pay the buyout + a transfer fee?
Also...
Also...

No, a minimum fee release clause (aka buyout clause) is a clause in a player's contract which sets a minimum fee that a club must bid in able to buy that player. If a club bids the minimum fee set in a player's contract in an initial payment, his club cannot block the bid and must allow the bidder to talk to the player.
Fun fact: Neymar's clause with Santos is $79M.

Hmm.. so
Player A release clause 30 mil
We bid 25 mil, nothing can happen without the player & owning club's consent? or nothing at all.
We bid 30 mil, the owning club has no say in the matter and we can open up contract negotiations with Player A?
Player B has no release clause
We bid anywhere from 5 to 50 mil, owning club has to approve bid before we can start negotiations with player?
Tell me if any of this is wrong plox

If the club wants to sell for 25M, they can accept the bid, but they don't HAVE to.

Correct. Player A can void the deal if he wants to by not signing a contract, but the club must let Arsenal negotiate once the clause is met.

Yep.

What a-hole keeps putting Arsenal on FSC Plus.

Oh well... The guys that do radio for Arsenal Player are... Entertaining. They are nuts.

This team is just not good enough. We had close to our best 11 out there and we got worked by Swansea. It's not Gervinho's fault. It's not Ramsey's fault. This system and this style is simply not working.

There's no movement or anything incisive happening when Arsenal has the ball.
Once Arteta/Cazorla/Wilshere hit the first line of defense, the ball just gets passed back or out to the wings. They don't try to complete any 1-2 or combination play through the middle. Our best chances come from speculative crosses from the wings. It's really shite football.

And this is supposedly our best midfield. This is the worst Arsenal team Wenger's ever had. It's littered with full internationals and talented individual players, yet we can't string two forward passes together at all. I think the focus on defensive rigidity has taken a lot of fluidity from our play. We should go back to pressing high up the pitch, rather running back and facing the game head on. We clearly can't counter-attack.

They countered pretty well in the first part of the season, and that seems to have gone to shite.
I don't understand the need to substitute Podolski every single game. Why take off one of your most dangerous players leaving your attack more impotent?

It was really only the Liverpool game, and that was because Pool's midfield that game was in disarray. There isn't another game where we broke from defense to attack at breakneck speed. Not Man City, not Southampton, not Chelsea, not Man U, not Stoke, not Sunderland. So we've never really been able to counterattack with this side.
