A good one, but not even close.

Allen has been great for Pool but Cazorla has been on a another level.

Allen and Cazorla are two completely different players. It's like trying to argue which is better between Xavi and David Silva. There is no doubt though that Allen is more important for Liverpool than Cazorla is for Arsenal. Without Cazorla Arsenal is still a top 4 club. Without Allen, well, it's hard to be worse than where we are now, but I don't even want to think what the results would have been without Allen.
Cazorla is world class, and Allen isn't quite there yet. But Allen has been the more important transfer for Liverpool.

Exactly what I was getting at. The difference in our midfield before Joe and after Joe is like the difference between Chelsea and MLS All Stars.
LOL CHELSEA TROLL.

Without Cazorla Ramsey would be starting at CAM. Argument over.
Posted on 10/18/12 at 10:56 pm to DB10_AFC
No. Arsenal still would have a very good team with Ramsey in the starting XI. Losing Allen would be like the Saints losing Brees. In a season where our defense and offense has been utterly atrocious so far, Allen has been the single bright spot. Without him Liverpool would be fricked beyond belief.

Just watch the video of Arteta and Cazorla you posted in the thread. Allen is a very promising player. Cazorla is just wow at the moment. What happens when Wilshere gets back?

You are missing the point.

I thought you were in law skoolz. Words are important. Glasser's statement said "transfer to the EPL." Allen doesn't qualify for that statement!
Allen - Best intra-league transfer
Cazorla - Best transfer to the EPL
Now everyone is happy!

I get it Beast. Allen is a great young player and will be fantastic for y'all. Cazorla is a potential difference maker in the UCL and season to come. In two years Allen could be the best at his position in the EPL.

Ehhhh...not always! I don't know how you crazy civil law people do things though...

I love Santi and I am not diminishing his skills at all. He is an absolutely fantastic and mesmerizing player to watch. But Joe Allen was the most important transfer of the window for me. A close second was Fletcher. Cazorla might have been the player with the most quality transfered in the window. Him and Hazard can duke that one out.

True. Sometimes I forget we're the retarded special kids on the block.

No problem with that at all. Hope Allen stays healthy and productive for Pool.

If Allen goes down Liverpool are truly fricked. I'd like to think he'll be as good as Arteta has been this year in 2-3 seasons. He's 22 so Liverpool should have him for the next 5-7 years.
