McGee, a Western Conference executive said, "is scary." Not because of his superior athleticism and natural shot-blocking skills, but because his frequent mental lapses make a player who reportedly was looking to earn $14 million per year while in Washington an enormous risk. The Nuggets would like to retain McGee, but an NBA source said GM Masai Ujiri is leery of doling out Nene-type money (the veteran center signed a five-year, $65 million deal last year) for such an unpredictable player.

IF we can sign him to 5yr-65M the driveman says PULL the trigger. you'd have a core of gordon/rivers/davis/magee ALL UNDER 25 LOCKED UP LONG TERM. speaking of long we'd have the longest front court in the NBA and a team that can GROW TOGETHER. immediately makes us a playoff team and with an extra piece of two we'd be challenging the THUNDER by 2014. by the time it's time to pay davis/rivers, gordon/magee would be expiring.

AND THAT'S THE BOTTOM LINE, CAUSE DA DRIVEMAN SAID SO LINK

He isn't worth anywhere near that. $7-8m is what I would go for him but certainly not $13m.

It's been talked about, and quite a good idea, but if you weren't such a dickhead in third-person I would like it more.

I love it. He is a younger Tyson Chandler. With Davis and McGee down low the lane would be untouchable.

Is there a number for stupidity? Also you should look at Stiemsma's stats, next Tyson Chandler.

He's a good shot blocker but he has no offensive game outside of dunks and he's still a headcase. He needs to mature A LOT before any serious money should be given to him.

Dude is not a headcase. Ya'll are acting like he gets in trouble off the court. In Washington he was immature and made funny bonehead plays. In Denver not so much. Monty could keep in line and develop him. Sky is the limit for him. And also good thing about him is he always hustles if nothing else. Him and Davis running the court as bigs would be a good down low tandum

He will be a project but we have some time with AD and Rivers. He will be a beast if property taught. We should pick him up only if we can Get him at 9-10mil

Ur :beatdeadhorse: here my friend .......most of these guys on here seem to have this opinion of wanting ivy-league players and not a player whose actually very talented and who I think will be wayyyyy better than tyson chandler.

Im a huge magee fan and feel he would make this team much more athletic and skilled.

So he was trying to force his way out his whole career? And is that the kind of guy you want to give a $10 mil a year contract to, one that acts like a retard to force his way out of town?
