Winning the NC this season is about the only possible way I could finally look at last season in a positive light. Not to mention, it would be an incredible come back story.

I've never been a "championship or bust" fan but I'm with you on that. ill be happy and proud of another SECC but last season certainly left me wanting...

I think it's a pretty decent comparison.

This. It'd be one hell of a story if LSU did it too.

Good comparison except the Heat could afford to lose a dozen or more games. LSU may have to run the table again to get to THE game.

I'm still extremely proud of our accomplishments last season, but if that last game doesn't make you feel some pain about last season, then I don't know what to tell you. I've been a big proponent of letting 1/9 go, but I can't sit there and ignore that game and watch other games ignoring how the season ended.
Despite that, this season we'll be back as the underdog, which is a role I think LSU really excels in.

The only thing I will never let go about the championship game is that I think the only reason Alabama got into the game was ESPN. The margin they beat Okie st. in the BCS poll was close enough that their Championing of Bama to be in that game got them into it. We beat a team of that quality on their home field. Shouldn't of had to do it again just because of ESPN. That one thing, I will never be able to let go of. Other then that, the team played an awesome season. I think it was our best team ever even if we lost our last game.

So if LSU wins this season, can we have one of these parties just like the Heat fans are doing?
