Buying plants from wholesaler

I've been looking for a particular plant for my backyard. I've called everywhere and nobody has it. I finally found it at a place, but I can't buy it from them because they are a wholesaler. They don't sell to the public. What would I need in order to buy these plants from them? They sale to nurseries and landscapers, but officially do they just need a Tax ID number or something like that?

Prob. Where are they at and what plant do you need. We have a nursery in Forest Hill and I could help you out prob. We sell mostly out of state, but I could prob help you out.

Dont know of any in Forest Hill. Doenst mean its none there, but we talk to most of the other large growers daily, and I dont know of any.
