What makes you think Miles or Gruden would step back 100 miles in Careers to coach in Are Kansas ?
We already had Houston Nutt, so we don't want his twin brother Miles.

Kirby Smart is in the horseshite tier.

This will be the result of only a couple scenarios
1. Long needs to be fired because Kirby Smart was his #1 guy.
2. Our football team is in big NCAA trouble over some bullshite we haven't heard about yet.

It will be a NFL guy and as I posted in another thread I am hoping for Schottenheimer. I think he would be a great hire.

Added Schottenheimer to the On Deck tier for ya. The American Drive-In offer is still on the table.

So if Schotty gets it I get ADI if not you do?
Ill take that I guess
Beck isn't leaving NU he is a great HC WR/OC but not ready for SEC job yet. John Bond who grew up in Rogers (his dad is Blackie) is more ready than Beck for here. I know both of them and if Beck comes you will see the Del Miller offense in its pure form.

You need to explain that 3rd paragraph more.
ummm, really it's just a reason to get some ADI. Also tell me where all the businesses went in my little hometown. Population up 35%, businesses cut in half in the nearly 10 years since I left.
Hawgalude, like I've told you Butch Jones is a lock to follow Brian Kelly whenever the time comes.

Tim Beck OC at Nebraska runs the offense that Del Miller designed for KState and runs it religiously. He throws it more than what Miller does now. They use 3 WR 1TE and 1 RB.
John Bond who has been OC at a bunch of places since 1990 is from Rogers, his dad is Blackie Bond ex HC for the Mounties.
Business had left because Walmart and easier to drive into PG Farmington than set up in the town.
Plus there's no money in that town anymore its poorest district around in terms of mean income.

Perfect. I keep thinking MSU/Cam Newton when I read the name John Bond, got a little WTF there for a minute.
The Wal Mart H.O. is a solid hour drive from there, just a little too far for the boom to reach out there. Plus all of us that had aspirations GTFO. The demographics for there show that less than 8% of the population has a 4 yr degree and a near 30% HS dropout rate. Education is the key to social mobility.
Do you think this Del Miller offense is Petrino-ish but with a running QB and option looks?

Coach Millers offense is based on what the defense gives you. Everything is sight and QB adjusted. You need a QB with an arm, who studies film, and good feet. Coach Miller hated option but adjusted it for Klien. The numbering system is goofy also its 1-9 not even left odd right
Every snap is on 2 because you're given two plays in huddle and QB checks to whatever. A playcall in huddle for simple inside zone

3 reasons why it will be.
His last 2 HC hires have been NFL guys (Petrino and Wanny) and UA has had success hiring NFL guys last two times
Bill OBrien has proved it's not as tough and is cheaper move plus instant name recognition. You can also use Jags at BC as an example for this.
NFL style is what's needed to compete recruiting for Arkansas.
