Well guys, after years of thinking about it, I've joined the yak ranks.
Heck yeah

It's a 12' Field and Stream Eagle Talon. I understand it's very much entry level, but it was on sale for $399 and I couldn't pass it up
It's a good entry level yak. You definitely don't want to go too crazy on your first one. Just in case you decide yak fishing isn't for you. My first one was a Pescador 12 from academy. I loved yak fishing so much, 9 months later I bought a Slayer 14.5 . I love that yak. It's been good to me for about 2 years. It's gonna be bittersweet when I sell it for a Titan.
Point is, I hope you find as much enjoyment out of it as I do.

I have a feeling I'm really going to like yak fishing. It kind of seems like the bow hunting of fishing. Plus, modding the kayak is sort of a hobby in and of itself.
