Wanna know why those Gumpers are extolling Hat's virtues?
1/9/12!!!
They have no respect, not realllly, they are patronizing. Les gave them WHAT THEY WANTED, and ESPN and NCAA gave the "other assist."
Today, they are fat and happy...and Les handed them an NC....on a gold platter with a VERY STUPID GAME PLAN.
To accept a compliment from this Motley Fan Base, is evidence of never-learning-from-life's-experiences.

I was actually just about to post this.
Of course they're being overtly reverent and courteous. They don't feel threatened. They think they own LSU. They're still fat and happy off their most recent National Title.
And the clueless LSU fans on here think it's genuine respect.

When you lead the SEC in wins, the West in titles, and have as many SEC titles as any school since 05, you have to be college/SEC football mentally challenged to not "like" the coach who gives you such elite success. imo

TexasTiger89, from living in Louisiana for 39 years (Slidell 34), I count among my friends many LSU fans, one a long time Tiger Stadium field marshal. Likely, your uncle and other fans who don't like Coach Miles, will learn to love him when he leaves.

We do have a great football coach and a man that is easy to respect. You cant judge all of LSU fan base by the rant, basically it's a place many people can come and be a Monday morning QB

I was banned from that site too even though I lived in Alabama my whole life and went to LSU to study geology. I say only ban the people who troll or spam, not the civil Tiger fans. That shows how serious people in Alabama take their football because they have NOTHING ELSE. I don't care if they won the Title, I love Louisiana. We have New Orleans, the NFL and NBA, and awesome history, culture, and food. I don't think the states compare in my opinion. They idolize their football too much and bigot anyone who isn't 100% diehard Alabama because that is all they have. For Pete's sake, ban Auburn fans. They got the wrong Tiger. Also, it's obvious that Alabama and LSU is a huge rivalry now. It's clear BOTH sides don't like the other.
I much prefer here and SECRant. TideFans just treats their team like a cult.
I did appreciate the comments towards Miles though. That was nice of them. We really do have a great football team. It's just too bad we had to face the one team that LSU couldn't put 40 on twice, but Miles is still a great coach with an awesome personality. Hope we keep him for a long time.
