Bayou Benoit...Fished it today

Left the dock at about 7:30 and fished until 2.

Caught 31 Bass and 27 Goggle Eye.
Only 7 bass were over 14".
My biggest was 3.3 lbs.

Witnessed something I will never see again.
One of my buddies got his spinner bait hung up on a log..there was a copcop bird near it. he started shaking it and the bird flew over and peck the bait off the log and un snagged it. We were like "wtf".

As we were putting the boat on the trailer there was a man and woman fishing (won't say what race) and my buddies boat apparently threw water on them. I'm on the front of the boat hooking it up and one buddy is in my truck and the other is trying to trailer the boat.
I hear someone yell and I look up to see this dude holding his shirt. He comes to the edge of the dock and says "ya'll just covered me with water"
I said "what you want me to do about it?"
He said "don't you have anything to say?"
I said "what you want me to say about it?"
He proceeds to start walking fast in my direction in a threatening manner.
I put my hand on my knife and apparently he must have thought it was a gun because he made a turn and walked to a vehicle and made a phone call.
I only heard bits and pieces of the call, but it sounded like he was calling some friends to come rumble I guess.

I was already a little intoxicated so we took off.

I'm not one to instigate trouble or wait around for it.

I mean, who the frick sits on the dock where boats are launching and expects people to not launch so they can fish?

I guess he learned a valuable lesson..Water is wet.

We laughed all the way home.
