That was a horrible elbow by De Rossi. No excuse but De Rossi did apologize and repeatedly admitted himself that he lost his temper and totally fricked up. That said he's still a pretty hot headed player even if he's calmed down a lot in his mid-20s.


No one wants dirty plays like that or out and out cheating.

It's kind of Muller's seeming tendency to look right at an opposing player's achilles and intentionally stomp it that prompted me to post about his antics in the first place. Well, that and all the German worship on this board.

However, a lot of what bothers some people about the Italian players, I find funny. All 11 players and all the bench and fans going through the same operatic series of hand gestures after a bad call is funny as hell and adds flavor more than is regrettable.
