To be fair the Spanish and the Italians have mostly earned their reputations. I have no love for Germany whatsoever but Muller seems to be more exception than rule. Kind of like Ashley Young for England.

I can see that point to some degree but that stereotype gets exaggerated to a remarkable degree.
For example, I recall some video of a De Rossi "dive" that used to be posted here daily when the video was started at just the right time to not show that a player had spiked his achilles from behind just before he went down.
What I will give you is that Italians and Spanish (and Greeks) are a lot more demonstrative in their discussions with refs etc. However, Germans and English are smarter in playing up the model player image but then pulling the same BS.
Hell, Klinsmann was guilty of maybe the worst dive in WC history to get that Argentine defender sent off in 1990.
Germany's shite smells no better than anyone elses.
