besides Winn-Dixie, Whole Foods, etc. (and IMO not legit stores) but I do miss the olden days of going to your personal butcher to get an awesome specific type of cut.
Any info would help. Thank you

Where can I buy a whole lamb, like I saw in the movie "My Big Fat Greek Wedding"?

Maxwell's can get you any cut you want. Not your typical old fashion butcher house, but they can get/do anything you like.

Depending on what part of Baton Rouge you live in, Junior's between Port Vincent and French Settlement might be close. It is a nice little butcher shop that handles 21 day dry aged steaks for ~$10 lb.
Some steaks that I have gotten from there...

Corner of HWY 16 and 42, next to the Moonlight Inn (place that was the Boar's Nest in Duke's of Hazard)
The meat appears to be choice and they have filets and ribeyes that are dry aged. They make and smoke a number of meats among other things. Nice little place that has been open a couple of months...

Also try the LSU Dairy Store for meat. Depends what you're looking for.

This, except Tramontes is on Jefferson Hwy., if I'm not mistaken. Tiger Bend doesn't start until another half-mile or so down the road.
