Throw it out in the rain/sun for a while maybe. I guess the stuff I used to be 80 years old or so based on what my powpow told me several years back, that these barns/sheds were already built when he was a kid. When I first started I expected the wood to just crumble and fall apart. It was actually very solid. My drill struggled a bit when I was drilling out a big whole for the drain.
