The LSU batters are letting too many perfect strikes go by on the first pitch. Some of these could be homers. Also too many perfect strikes on 3-0 pitches. I know the stats when you can give a strike on 3-0, but it’s too much, too often. But especially the first pitch perfect strikes. Between the 2 it’s like giving the opposing pitchers free strikes perfect in the stone with every at bat. That’s why we can’t get enough hits. A couple of lesser strategic errors is trying to steal too often, and sending runners from 3rd too often, either on the move, or from a standing start. Someone needs to point this out to coach Maineiri. These are strategic game time errors, especially the free strikes.

We played Katz in center which is a terrible move defensively in order to play our "offensive" lineup today... with Edward and Moore.

lolz that worked.

i THINK that is the first time i heard anyone call for the tigers to swing for more home runs ... the consensus i have been receiving is that they are hacking for home runs too much instead of just getting on base
