Perry Jones is at least as capable a ballhandler as Ariza and likely better.

Ballhandling is not a strength of Ariza, so not sure how much that tells me. But good to know P Jones is no worse than that.

Yeah, Jones is a really solid ballhandler. His turnovers came from IQ problems more than ballhandling problems, and Drew didn't give him or Miller much free reign to isolate and create as scorers. The opportunities Jones did have, he chose to shoot a midrange jumper instead of putting the ball on the floor and exploiting the mismatch most of the time.

We need to know why. Was it just no bball IQ, or is he not confident putting it on the floor? NBA 3 has to have no fear putting the ball on the floor and getting inside. Give me T Jones.

I think that is why they'd lean to Sullinger, because he fills a need with the loss of Carl Landry. The big butt lane driver...

Sullinger is like an $8 million dollar cheaper version of Big Carl.

Ayon is an $8 million cheaper version of Landry, but a much better passer.

I could see T Jones working out well here. It was just tough for anyone to shine too brightly alongside Davis with all of that talent in Lexington.

You don't have to do much to convince me. I liked what I saw of him in the tourney.

From what I saw, anytime UK needed a bucket, they put the ball in Jones' hands. Dude just looks like a baller out there.

I'd like to hear what Davis has to say about Jones

Haven't they already commented about how great it would be to play together in New Orleans. Or maybe just Jones was saying that.

This. TJones is way more of a 3 than PJ is. Plus, at 6'9 255 he comes in with the size, athleticism, and physicality to guard every teams best player. I like TJones a lot and think he will be a top 5 player from this draft. Not sure why some rankings have him in the 10-17 range

Completely agree. I'm kinda scared he won't be there at 10 now.

What do you think of Terrence Ross out of Washington. He is supposably a SG but is 6'6 and is a very capable scorer which the Hornets are in dire need of
