Thoughts on Carl Landry?

Ive been hearing lots of people want to trade or get rid of Landry. I think that Landry has been an excellent player for the hornets. He is a little short for the PF position but his play on the court makes up for it. He's a great asset to the hornets and I hope we keep him.

I like him a lot and think he would be a great backup to Davis, but I think we're pretty deep at the backup PF spot between Smiht and Ayon.

I'd like to keep him if we don't resign kaman. Ayon and Smith can play a back-up 5 role if we need them to and Carl Landry is great energy off the bench.

It's not that we want to get rid of Landry, it's just that he's the odd man out. Even though he'll be missed there's just no room for him on the roster with the team drafting Davis and possibly another big at 10.

He doesn't post as often as several others, but neither do you. JayJay2 has been around here for a while. Sure, he can be pretty abrasive, but you missed the mark in this thread.

And Ayon fills the same role, but at a fraction of the cost.
