I wanted us to draft him, but he's not worth trading Gordon who is already an elite level player. He just needs to be healthy.

Also, the use of the word overrated is overrated. Cuz no one is saying the dude is great right now.

George & Hibbert for Gordon & Oak?

George & Granger for Gordon & Ariza?

I'd do either of those. Would there be a bigger lineup in the league than:

Jack
George
Grange
Smith
Kaman

Not saying I would do this cause I really like Gordon but this trade looks to be the fairest for both teams IMO. Almost everything else mentioned had the pacers giving up more than they realistically would. I think they would at least be willing to do this. Again not saying I want this to happen

indy would be getting raped, talent-wise

having granger and george together is an issue, also. george has really good #s for his minutes but needs more minutes

both are 3s

I agree I would not trade Gordon for George. However, Gordon is not elite (at least not yet). That is an overused word as well.

How about George & Granger plus 2013 first rounder for Gordon & Ariza. Gordon is better than Granger so we need something to even this out.

I agree with everybody else.. No. George just isn't that good. I wouldn't even trade Gordon for Hibbert.

I don't think it's THAT outrageous of a statement. Especially with his past injury problems, you can make a good argument that Gordon isn't elite....yet.

I feel the same way. It's a matter of time before he is considered an elite player (barring career altering injuries) but I know he isn't considered elite yet. He does however, have the talent to be.
