True, Hat. I killed a few Fulvous many years ago and that is them. I stand corrected. We were at a party in Bayou Black a few weeks ago, and the Mexican whistlers were all over the property.

Those are whistleing ducks. I have 4 wood duck boxes and a deer feeder out back by a swamp. Use to have 15 woodies at a time under the feeder but now whistleing ducks have run off the woodies. I have game cam pics.

Awesome pics. Love seeing the woodrows and whistlin duck babies in the spring around the crawfish ponds. You can normally catch all of them you want on the first couple of nights of frog season. But my favorite to see is to be out running a bayou looking for frogs and have momma and the whole pile swim out into the middle and then swim strait in front of you as you pass through. She always pulls the broken wing trick and the chicks look like a deer in the headlights.
