What are our chances with Cord Sandberg?

I know there have been a ton of threads about our QB prospects lately but they seem to be more focused on Johnson, Ferguson and Kincade. What are our chances with Sandberg though? I've watched his film and he looks like a pretty special player. In my opinion he looks better than the other three listed above so why hasn't he been talked about as much?

Look I dont want to sit here and knock the kid but he just doesn't look like a productive QB at the next level. When I watch his film I see the high schools top all around athlete who got put at QB because he can help the team out the best there. I just dont see that pure QB in him and thats what we need, a polished passer, or atleast someone who has the skill set to be taught at the next level.
Sanberg if a heck of an athlete but we dont need anymore project QBs here at LSU.
On a side note, I dont like any of the QBs that are left that we have offered with the exception of Riley Ferguson, which I dont think will leave the Carolinas.
Id almost rather us take a JUCO kid at the end from Cali or somthing because as of right now we have busted again at recruiting a viable QB for this class.

I'm on serveral insider sites, and there's some discrepancies between sites on which QB the staff is the most heavily after. I saw today that Sandberg is THE guy now, but I have no idea how interested he is in LSU, which may answer the question.

I like Staver as well .... but now that many of our top targets have chosen elsewhere its just not a very exciting recruiting process anymore for LSU a QB.
People on here will be happy with a Sandberg or a Kincade but to me thats just settling for another guy who we took because we ran out of options.

Out of all the prospects we are hearing about that's left, I would be excited about Staver. He has to get the offer first though.

I love how some of the people that are "tired of project QBs" are the same ones clamoring for guys like this one

For all those guys who go elsewhere, it is their loss, not ours. Maybe we'll get a chance to put them down somewhere along the way in the next 4 years. They all look like Tiger bait to me. GEAUX TIGERS!!!!!!

ok guys sandberg a lot better than any of you think-runs a 4.5 forty (legit) 72% completion over last 2 years-over 5 thousand yards and 10 int is 26-3 as a starter only losing to private schools who recruit and we were in all those games. Now how he ranks LSU i can tell you right now they are in top 3. I will let the board know as soon as he makes up his mind. I know he is going to decide early before the season starts. He is planning a trip to BR in early July and may decide then.

Exactly. Sandberg is more of a project than Johnson and Staver

Double down on Ferguson and pray that Krags cn do wonders with the current stable. Kincade is another project, and Liggins arm is better, just needs accuracy.
