Federer wins another tournament while Joke and Nadal whine about a blue surface and threaten to not play next year because of it.

Federer still hanging with the young bucks.

Not really, he's been done for years.

Actually about half the field complained about it. This tournament is a tune up for the French Open, changing the clay to blue throws that out the window.

Federer actually takes the #2 ranking from Nadal with this win. There's a chance he could get back to #1 and break Sampras' record based on what happens at RG and Wimbledon

They already hate that tournament because it's at some altitude. Nadal is always a bitch when he loses, but I don't see him losing RG. I think he has to win Rome to get back to number 2. Djoker/Nadal in RG semis would be awesome, but I am not really excited about the rest of the clay season because buttpicker is so good.

Wimbledon and Olympics is gonna be tits.

Zero major titles since 2010 Australian Open. Over 2 years ago.

Winning these inbetween warm up tournaments really mean nothing, they are mostly tune ups before the Majors in which he can't win one anymore because Nadal/Joker are quite a bit better than him.

He's a good #3/#4, but he can't touch a major title anymore.

What record you speak of? Weeks at #1?

Regardless, I think Fed needs one more major to cement his legacy as in the Top-2 best ever.

Yeah, weeks at number 1. It's the only meaningful record he doesn't have now

When he quits making semis and/or getting trucked in semis, then he is done.

The fact he keeps putting himself in semis/finals on a regular basis still makes him a threat.

I don't know, one, maybe two more major wins, tops, is in him.

He's won 7 titles since the USO ended last year. Nadal has won 1 and Djokovic 2 IIRC

Meh, some of them are pretty meaningful. There's no doubt that both Nadal and Djokovic would love to win the YEC, especially Nadal. Fed won that one.

No one cares.

Win a major then talk to me.

Federer is done, he can't win a major anymore, he's proven that for over 2 years now and after he's done at Roland it'll be 2 1/2 years and counting.

He had a good run, it's just been over for a few years now.

Novak and Rafa better start caring and stop just letting Fed win these things or they're going to end up 2 & 3 and playing each other in semis

Are you referencing a specific record that includes a gold medal, or did you not understand my post?

I expect fed to win the gold medal, dream scenario for him considering the surface.

This is bullshite. He's fully capable of winning a major.

It's either the Semi's or Finals every major anyways, and either one destroys Feds so I doubt they care much actually.

Fed had a good run, hard for some of you to accept that he will never win another major I understand, you'll get over it eventually.
