What kind of dog is this?

I came home from work last night and she was literally sitting on my doorsteps. Seems like she wants to be a pretty decent guard dog. Definitely use to humans, as she let me pet her the second time i saw her

i'm surprised she let you pet her. I woulda peed myself if that hand was coming at me.

To the OP, I am no dog expert it looks like some kind of Mutt/Hybrid to which 50-80% of it is a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel as seen here:

They are the ultimate lap dog. But it has some other mix in it, I can tell. It's nose being much longer then a CKCS, as seen in the pics, give that other breed, whatever it is, away. CKCS are probably the most friendly people dog on the planet. And it will just want to be all up next to you if it has more of the CKCS in it. You should take it in your house, give it a good flee bath(just in case)and let it live with you. It did choose you. So take it in. Neat dogs. They act more like big dogs. You will enjoy...
