The guy is trying to be the best QB he can be. He isn't saying he is those guys. What examples do you want him to give? Colt McCoy, Bobby Hebert and David Garrard?

I'm happy to see Jefferson get an opportunity although I doubt if he's on any NFL roster in six months.

Perhaps some kind of developmental deal with a team willing to work with him but I don't see him on any sideline in 2012.

He's saying he wants to work to get better. Dwi. I don't care for him but he doesn't need everything he says to be dissected.

Almos as bad as the people who dissect everything miles says. Try to leave your agenda elsewhere.

This kid gets bashed for evrything he says, just let it go. He said nothing wrong. He actually said what every player that comes out should say. They all have a lot of work to put in before they can be considered a great player. Took eli 2 superbowl wins before he was even mentioned as an elite qb alingside his brother and brady.

Wish he had that attitude his freshman year at LSU.

So you disagree with that or you're just making up reasons to try to tear down a 21 y/o who's trying to live out his dreams because he didn't meet your standards as a college player?

You're awesome!

Guys, he can't do us anymore harm. I say let's act like adults and wish the best for a former tiger and move on. It's obsurd how obsessed some of you are.

If you are gonna say you wanna be someone why not mention great players..... First time I hear someone say they wanna be Joey Harrington, Akili Smith, Jamarcus Russell, or Heath Shuler I don't know how I will react

If I remember from grade school, that would be circle-circle-circle...slash. The "which one does not belong" game. I'm pretty sure that unless JJ happens to know Humble is a town near Houston, that word is not in his vocabulary.
