price check on a shotgun

how much would a browning 10 gauge pump shotgun with a bps 30" barrel be worth? asking because i was offered it in a trade for my benelli nova pump and i want to make sure that i am getting a good deal.

30" barrel is awful long for alot of hunting situations, IMO.

i have a benelli super black eagle for duck hunting. I have no use for the nova and was just looking to add something new to my collection, but i still want to make sure it is a good deal. i have never owned a 10

big heavy gun, with few uses other than goose and turkey hunting. you don't want to have to lug it around.

Do it. The BPS is a great gun. It'll be a cool cannon to own. A 30" barrel is actually nice IMO because its quieter, and the weight is needed.

i would make the trade, but it'd be based on novelty more than necessity.

Since you have the SBEII for duck hunting, then definitely. I would venture to say that the BPS is worth double what the nova is worth and serves a different use. (Large Bird hunting: Turkey, Goose, Sandhill crane gun.)

Meh, a 2 3/4" 10ga load has about the same amount of shot and power and a 3" 12ga load. And the gun is heavier so there's less kick.
