would it be OK to say we if you graduated from another Univerity but your son played for LSU?

I don't think there should be qualifications to be a fan. Everyone who is a fan has ties and those ties qualify you. Being a fan isn't an exclusive club like some people suggest. IMO, you can say "we" if you're a fan and are referring to your team.
