Search on here for my writeup on the places I went. We flew for free and stayed 5 nights for free, so we went all out when it came to meals. I have an extensive writeup of each place.

Louie's Backyard is awesome and very nice in the evening if you can sit outside by the water. A little pricey, but worth it.

Blue Heaven : One of the top rated places in Key West. We had scallops as an appetizer that were out of this world. It's a pretty famous place around Key West. My entree was just okay, but I think it was because of what I got. It was dark so we couldn't see what our food looked like (lol) but the patio we sat on was huge and awesome.

Southernmost Beach Cafe : This is rated a top place in Key West, but honestly I found it kinda meh. It was just okay. It's on the beach though and right next to my hotel so it was easy. My soup was a cold soup (which I have a photo of below). I don't mind a cold soup, but I need a reason for it to be that way. The soup I had was salsa in a cup as far as I'm concerned

La Trattoria : Beautiful Italian restaurant. Their special the night we went was a garlic and parmesan bisque with lobster. They have a HUGE menu for an Italian restaurant and their items are really different. We got tanked on too much wine though.

Sloppy Joes : Big tourist attraction. It's Hemmingway's old favorite bar haha. The food was good and they have live music. It wasn't the best I've had or anything but it's something you should experience in Key West. A little tourist attractions never hurt anyone.

The Cafe (A Mostly Vegetarian Place) : Rated #1 on the Tripadvisor.com restaurant reviews. We ate lunch here today and it was awweeeesssoomme!! It's a vegetarian place.. everything is really different, but it's so good. The spinach and cheese gyro appetizer is out of this world.. not something I thought I'd even like, but it was great. I love vegetarian food though because I think it's interesting how they can make things you've never heard of simply by keeping out meat.

Rooftop Cafe : We ate here tonight. It was one of the best meals we had in Key West and very beautifully presented. It's a perfect place to sit outdoors and watch the sunset. Got the lobster and gnocci app. Brag got the Local Snapper and I got the Wild Mushroom Risotto. Both were outstanding.

I wrote this my last night in Key West, and ended up visiting Hog's Breath Saloon before getting on my plane home. It's another one of those touristy places, but I had to do SOME tourist some for the experience. The food was decent.

SOme photos:

This is Better Than Sex. It is a dark bar/dessert restaurant where every item is sexually themed. Definitely romantic as hell if you're with a woman. I got champagne in a white choc dipped glass. The other drink is red wine infused with chocolate and in a chocolate dipped glass.

The next two are our plates at Rooftop Cafe.

@ the umbrella.

Great pics and reviews, which makes me want to revisit Key West. I haven't been there since the seventies when it composed of gas stations giving away conch shells with any purchase, and hole in the wall places featuring mandatory Key Lime Pie.
