No, the MDF (made cut did not finish) rule effectively is a second cut after Saturday when more than 70 are still playing and they want to reduce the tee times so they can end the round as close to 5 to meet TV times.

Those who make the 36 hole cut but not the 54 are still paid and receive FedEx cup points but they don't have the chance to increase that on Sunday because of TV.

Complete crap.

I disagree, if a player isn't in the top 70 after Saturday, too bad. He should have played better
