has a conference ever gotten 4 national seeds? I know the SEC has gotten 3, last year being the latest.

The fact that UF has lost 3 SEC series so far and they've all been to the West adds to the credibility of the West's strength and in turn, its champion getting a National Seed, IMO(assuming Florida's arse continues to get sucked at the end of the season).

Could very well have a SEC team finish ahead of them in the standings and not get a top 8 seed.
