re: What is this "exposed PVC pipe" on Tiger Stadium all about?

I agree. Its like building a multimillion dollar mansion and then putting a port-a-potty in the front yard. Kinda white trash and no class.

How much are you donating for these projects ? Because you sure in the hell act like you are paying for them out of your own pocket.

I agree completely but it's not the end of the World as some are making it out to be.
However, it should be fixed and can be easily done.

Put some tiger stripes and a "#1" (or #2) on it!

Nobody yet has suggested to just add a second pipe on the other side to make them even...hooray for symmetry!

Then why are we still waiting all these years later? That pipe is mentioned here a few times per year, for almost the lifetime of TD.com.
Architecturally and aesthetically, it is rather egregious.

t is inconceivable that a one hundred plus million dollar addition to tiger stadium would be so poorly designed that yes, no one accounted for sewage outflow and during the design-build portion they went....crap! We forgot to plan for the sewage ...
So there hangs under the structure a thick white pipe as a testament to how pathetic TAF's construction management team oversight was and why Trey trahan should never design so much as a outhouse for lsu again.
You would have to be blind not to see it.
The new design is HORRIBLE
I stand by my previous statement. It may look fine from the inside but is crap on the outside. If you don't agree fine. Just my opinion. That's why it's called the rant jerkoffs.

As could all of us, but this is called a conversation where you generally talk about a subject that somebody brought up. Just because we all have opinions about it doesn't mean people are freaking out about it and rolling around in our beds in a sleepless state.
As a sidenote, if I were to list #1-20 of things in my life that I worry about, I'd be banned for probably half of them.

easy fix...like others have mentioned, just hang a banner or something.
Actually, that West side needs some banners/color anyway. It needs an "LSU stamp" on it to give it some character. I agree it was ridiculous that they allowed that to happen in the first place, but nonetheless it's an easy fix.
Personally, I've always been more bothered by the huge wire screens covering the windows than the PVC piping. I think those screens are incredibly ugly and makes the West side look like it's "permanently under construction."

And to all those that have complaints/suggestions for these kinds of things, don't ever assume that LSU doesn't listen to the fans.
Email the athletic department...I guarantee you they read every email and quite often will act on those complaints/suggestions.
And to be honest, things come up ALOT that they had no idea there was an issue to begin with. The fans oftentimes serve as quality control and can help spot problems that LSU didn't even know existed.
