I think that hurts us to be honest. Stern may have to go out of his way to ensure we don't win to avoid that suspicion of the stern factor.

I hate to post 3 times in a row but in all seriousness, I'm sure they have non-NBA auditors watching the drawing, otherwise they really could rig it every year if they wanted to. Especially this year considering the factors.

I don't see how Cleveland and Chicago won it when they did. About 1% chance.

I think it's rigged.

The NBA controls the system. The auditors see what they are allowed to see and what it is predetermined they will see. That's like saying a magic show is really magic because the auditor didn't see how the trick was done. If Stern wants it rigged it will be rigged.

I had a premonition this morning after leaving the gym that the Hornets would land the number 2 spot. Not that bad, really.

Not that good either.

Davis >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> whoever at #2

It actually would suck to be #2.

No way dude. Stern doesn't give a frick about anything, let alone suspicion of him running his league the way he wants to run it. Stern got this.

I'd love to have Davis, but Robinson would make an immediate impact.

It's cool to disagree. But no way TRob is even close to the impact player Davis is. I'm so afraid of TRob as a bust. IMO Sullinger looks like a better NBA player at the same position. And no one absolutely loves Sullinger. Just saying after Davis, it's a crap shoot.

For being 6'9, Robinson was probably the best rebounder in college this year. He also has a great post game and his shooting range extends to the college 3 point line where he shot 50% this year. Davis is better but T Rob is supremely talented. Not to mention his life story shows you that he will probably be the hardest worker coming out of this class which could turn him into at least an All Star under Monty. There's a huge drop off after those 2 though.

I like TRob. I'm afraid though he's been over hyped, and the dropoff from 1 to 2 would be huge. Davis is a game changer. TRob is a nice player. Huge difference IMO.

This. He is the kind of player we need on this team

Well, I just spun the lottery about ten times at ESPN. Came out T Rob or Drummond very time except one, and that wasn't Davis. Hell, Cleveland ended up with Davis on one of the turns.

We have a roster full of hard workers. That is why this team is competitive in almost every game. Hell I would venture to say we are the best 3rd worst team in NBA history. Hyperbole? I don't know.
But it's because we have hard working players but we lack a super star talent. I think TRob fits right into what we already have. Davis would bring that super star talent.

Unless the scouts and my eyes are wrong, Robinson would be a significant talent upgrade.

At worst T Rob comes in and immediately produces like a better rebounding Carl Landry. Give him a few years and I see him being at least an All Star.
