Wait a second...what's wrong with English clubs attempting to preserve their distinct brand of soccer? If every nation/region abandoned their style of play and pursued that of the front runner, evolution in the game would cease to exist. I particularly enjoy the type of soccer played in England and hope the physicality is never eradicated for the sake of touch passing.

That's cool. I just hope you aren't rooting for English teams against Spanish ones lately. Also, isn't pursuing what works and adapting your style of play actually the definition of evolution?

You've got this backwards.. if they stick to their "same ol same ol" THAT'S where the evolution ceases to exist.. it's the pursuit of perfection that drives the game forward.
